Adele

why draw celebrities?
This is one bad habit I've picked up from DA... I would never of done it otherwise and people who know me think it's weird.
My reasons are:
-even if I could persuade a friend to stay still for me for two hours, I like to draw from photos cos it's easier and I'm lazy
-celebrity pics are easily and readily available on a whim
-celebrities usually carry more image in terms of style and colour, than your average mate on the street. It's easier to reduce them to a pretty picture

Please note I'm not particularly drawing my alltimeverfavourite artists or anything. There are musicians I like better. I think Adele's good and that but I don't even own any of her albums, not even illegal download. I'm gonna get 21, but there are other things I need to get first, like food and electricity bills.

Anyway I busted the 'glam photos are readily available' bit by pausing this video and drawing that [link] ... I'm sort of compensating for the celebrity thing by drawing them without makeup. She reminds me of my cousin in that interview.

The right eye needs a shot of light in it, didn't have it in the video but it makes it look weird without especially since I added it in to the left eye.

I'm gonna draw some proper stuff soon, soon as my life gives me a break.
